Event held at the First Presbyterian Church. We open with the Russian
master’s favorite March, and feature the 2009 Hilton Head
International Competition Winner (who won with Tchaikovsky’s
Piano concerto No.1), who returns to play Rachmaninoff’s tour de
force on Paganini’s memorable theme. Tchaikovsky’s greatest and
fi nal symphony, fi lled with beautiful melodies and pathos brings

and sports writer for a lecture and book signing featuring his latest
novel, Reefer Moon. Pinckney is a native of the South Carolina

book was Bluff Roots, a history of South Carolina voodoo and his
novel, Little Glory, has been purchased by a Hollywood independent

All or Much of the Month
3RD THROUGH 21ST...BOEING-BOEING. Arts Center of
Coastal Carolina. Coming off a successful 2008 Broadway revival
that netted the play two Tony Awards and six nominations, this
French farce keeps audiences laughing. Boeing-Boeing answers
the question, what do you get when you combine an eager lothario
and three beautiful stewardesses? Bernard is a successful
architect juggling three fi ancées and their airlines’ timetables. But
when a faster Boeing jet throws their schedules off, sending all
three women to Bernard’s apartment at once, hilarity ensues. The
Wall Street Journal called Boeing-Boeing, “The funniest play to
